Aptos at ISAPS congress

We are happy to announce our participation at 24th Biennial Global Congress 2018 being held in Miami organized by ISAPS.

On November 1st room D-4 the co-inventor of Aptos threads and methods Dr.Konstantin Sulamanidze, MD (Georgia) will held a presentation in Free Paper Session 14: Injectables, Skin Care & Non-Invasive about Aesthetic Appearance Removal of Face Paralytic Deformity by Thread Lifting Methods.


We will present our threads and methods at our exhibition booth N 727.


This congress has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and Elements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Inc. and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Inc. is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Inc. designates this live activity for a maximum of 41.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. The Scientific Sessions are designated for 24.5 credits. An additional 17 credits are designated for special seminars and optional courses. Earn up to 41.5 CME credits by attending a course in every time frame offered and the entire Scientific Sessions. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Credit hours are subject to program changes. 

Of the 41.5 credits, 3 credit hours have been identified as programming dedicated to patient safety related topics and will satisfy Patient Safety CME requirements.

Educational objectives include:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of gluteal anatomy to avoid fat injection complications
  2. Choose appropriate treatment for patients using principles of evidence-based medicine 
  3. Evaluate new implant attributes for best patient specific outcomes

The American Medical Association has an agreement of mutual recognition of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits with the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the accreditation body for European countries. Physicians interested in converting AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ to UEMS-European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education CME credits (ECMECs) should contact the UEMS at mutualrecognition@uems.eu

Activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ that take place within a member country of the UEMS are not eligible for conversion to ECMECs under this agreement.
